Are you protecting yourself from the dangerous rays of the sun? We often forget to take care of our skin year round. Just because it is cold outside doesn't mean your skin is not getting damaged. Exposure to the sun is drying at the very least and one of the major causes of aging.
Protect your skin from the sun. Use sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15 and wear protective hats and clothing.
Don't smoke. Research shows that smoking ages the skin. Smoking decreases collagen, a protein that helps skin strength.
Clean your skin gently with mild cleanser and apply a natural skin care moisturizer. Avoid irritating additives such as perfumes and dyes, especially if you have sensitive skin
Get plenty of sleep. Sleep is essential for healthy skin. Not enough quality sleep will make your skin look tired and older.
